Dr. Tasker is a board certified general surgeon born and raised in Metro Detroit and has returned to Metro Detroit to continue her surgical practice with her family close by. She pursued a career in medicine and general surgery due to her love of procedures and complexity of surgical patients. Dr. Tasker enjoys helping patients and seeing instant gratification, but she also feels her job as a surgeon is to discuss both the necessity of surgery as well as other options for treatment. She specializes in common general surgical issues including: gallbladder disease, endoscopy, hernia repair, and robotic surgery. She has a special interest in wound care including healing chronic wounds and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. When she is not working, Dr. Tasker enjoys spending time with her family, spending time outdoors, and baking.
